How to claim access

Simple steps when someone named you to receive encrypted instructions or files from HeirVault.

Open your claim link
Use the unique link from your email. It looks like /claim/your-token. Do not share that link. After you claim, you can sign up or sign in with the same email and open it again under Received in the dashboard. Practice links never appear there.

Enter the beneficiary password
Depending on delivery mode, sign in with the invited email and unlock with your enrolled account key, enter a beneficiary password shared out of band, or finish assisted transfer for that handoff.

View what they designated
Docs and files decrypt in your browser. You only see what the owner chose for you, not their entire vault.
